Our Mission:
We, the members of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church Community, profess that we are one family baptized into Christ Jesus and proclaim Him as the Light of the World, whose death reconciles us to the Father and whose resurrection gives us hope.
Staff
Rev. Jim McGuinn
Father Jim is our pastor and also the pastor of our partner parish, St. Anthony of Padua. Father joined our Parish family in June of 2023.
Deacon Mark J. Kuhn
Deacon Mark was led to the Catholic Faith while studying modern foreign languages at Holy Family University. Since 2008, Deacon Mark has devoted himself to St.Joseph’s in working with our Spanish speaking families. mkuhn@stjosephambler.org
Deacon Kevin Gentilcore
Kevin was ordained a Permanent Deacon in 2004. On July 10, 2026 he and his wife Bernadette (Bernie) will celbrate 50 years of marriage. Kevin and Bernie have a daughter Kelly and two grandsons, Nicholas and Benjamin who thay happily refer to as “the joy boys”. In addition to his diaconal duties, Kevin teaches Theology in the VUnited Scholars Program at Villanova University. Kevin was a senior at Villanova when the future Pope Leo XIV was a freshman. Feel free to ask him if they knew one another.

Deacon Michael Cuff
A deacon in the Catholic church, Michael sees the promise in each person. He’s an encourager, a connector and an organizer, acting as a beacon of hope and support for families experiencing homelessness. A resident of Ambler, Penn., Michael shares his love for the organization and the communities it serves with members of his congregation.

Mrs. Lisa Gallagher
Parish Secretary
Lisa has been apart of the St. Joe’s family for over 20 years. She was a former Kindergarten teacher at Ambler Catholic. She provides beautiful music on our organ on Sundays and keeps everything under control as our beloved administrative assistant during the week!

Mrs. Suzanne Kuhn
Director of Religious Education
Suzanne has been a devout Catholic since birth attesting to the term, “Cradle Catholic”. She received her religious instruction from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, which she attended with Deacon Kuhn.

Finance Director
Dave is a retired attorney now working as the volunteer Finance Director for Saint Joseph’s Parish.

Facilities Manager
Oleg is the Facilities Manager at St. Anthony’s church in Ambler. He is also supporting St. Joseph’s church when need arises.
